Winter Biking Primer from Street Films

Submitted by on January 24, 2011 – 10:31 pmNo Comment

My first forays into winter riding were pretty much a bust. My gloves were awful, the hat I used didn’t cover my ears, my shoes were useless, etc.  Ever since I learned the science of layering I’ve enjoyed riding in colder weather. I still prefer riding in sunshine but I’m not intimidated by riding when the temperatures are near freezing.

Street Films just published this Winter Biking Primer that is pretty informative and you don’t have to live in Chicago to benefit from it.

The following two tabs change content below.
Chris started riding a bike again when he noticed the Preston Ridge Trail being constructed across the street from his house. Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
