I believe I have found the best way to enjoy both of these publications – Velo News and Bicycle Quarterly. One is dedicated to sport cycling, the other to randonneuring and classic bicycles. Both are exceptional reads and well worth the subscription cost. Velo New is the gold standard for the fan of competitive cycling, and Bicycle Quarterly has no peer when it comes to the technical and historical discussion of classic bikes and modern bikes built in a time honored style. Their product reviews are required reading for anyone who appreciates classic bicycles.
I’m conducting extensive testing now, but for the moment I’m convinced I’ve discovered the best way to enjoy reading both of these publications.
