Toti: Serious White Rock Lake Cuteness

I stopped to get a drink at one of the water fountains at White Rock Lake today, and saw the cutest little dog in a bag on the front of a young woman’s bicycle:
His name was “Toti”!
I felt pushy enough with this young lady just asking about her dog and how well that it was adapting to this carrying situation. She was a French exchange student going to SMU and was very gracious about the whole thing. She said that it was her third attempt with “the little dog” in the basket, and that it was going well “because the little dog wants to go where its mother goes”.
Fair enough! When I tried to take the picture, the dog turned its’ back on me. But when I said, “Toti!” and whistled, I got the above pose.
What a lovely day!
