The completion of the Santa Fe Trail has been dominating much of the bicycle trail discussions lately, on our site and elsewhere; but in case you haven’t heard Richardson has been making strides in their own trail system lately.

You can drop by Bike Friendly Richardson and read about the latest developments in the Richardson trail and bike lane system here, here and here.

There are no less than 4 DART rail stations in Richardson, so it’s an easy city to visit on bike from pretty much anywhere in the county.  There are many trails and bike lanes to enjoy when you’re there.
