SoPac Trail Phase 3 Meeting
Dallas cycling community: time to show up!
The SoPac Trail, a planned 6 mile connector between lower White Rock Lake all the way up to Royal Lane, needs our support to become reality. The trail will be a vital connection to many neighborhoods and, as we’ve seen with other trails in the city, a fantastic quality of life improvement for everyone in the city. On Thursday, November 14, we as a cycling community need to show up to support this trail! The City of Dallas is hosting this public meeting to “to present current status on design and gain consensus before completing the proposed trail design.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14, at 6:30pm at Ridgewood Recreation Center on 6818 Fisher Rd (map), just a short ride from the west side of White Rock Lake. Please plan to attend.
Don’t think that your attendance matters? Think again. There are a few people who have been adamant, and boisterous, in their fight against having this trail run through their neighborhood. Let’s pack the Community Meeting with cyclists who love our trails and want more!
