I was driving through Fair Oaks Park yesterday (the White Rock Creek Trail runs throught it) and saw a new sign:

Why, thank you, Ciudad de Dallas! I’d like to say that I was biking throught the area, but I was in my old pickup hauling a bunch of stuff to be recycled at the bulk-trash transfer station on Fair Oaks. On the way back into my Casa Linda neighborhood I saw this funny bumper sticker:

I whipped out my iphone and started following the guy trying to get a picture of his bumper…..then he just drove into my neighborhood and parked in the driveway of a house about a block from me. Since I’m such a pushy, nosy SOB, I got out and introduced myself to him and asked him if I could take a picture of his sticker. It turns out that he was a very nice guy and we had a lot in common. Welcome to the Neighborhood, Friend!
