Seen at the BFOC Valentine’s Day Ride

It was overcast, it was cold.  At least it was dry.  A nice turn out for the Bike Friendly Oak Cliff Valentine’s Day ride, all things considered.   I wasn’t paying close attention to the route as most of the time I kept reminding myself it wasn’t that cold.  Every now and then we’d get a glimpse of sunshine, very brief though.

I had never been to the Ginger Man and I was impressed with how they seemed to keep up with the additional crowd, service was speedy I thought.

Oh and a bonus – I’ve been looking at Bern helmets online (I don’t know of any LBS that carries them) and finally got to see one in person.  Hollis Wakefield from BFOC showed up sporting the one that comes with an internal hood.  She said it’s very warm and it looked like it would be a perfect winter helmet.  Stylish too.  I want one.
