Seen at the 2013 Dallas St Patrick’s Parade

The weather was perfect for a parade and even better for riding bikes.  I got there too late to join the cyclists who rode in the parade but I made it in plenty of time to take lots of photos and enjoy myself.  Each year this parade attracts over 15,000 people and it was so crowded I had to walk my bike during most of the event.  Afterwards, however, having a bike paid off as I was able to join some of the nearby festivities with ease. The yearly St Patrick’s Day Parade – yet another cool thing to see and enjoy, if you’re Biking in Dallas.  And be sure to check out our new Facebook page.

Chris started riding a bike again when he noticed the Preston Ridge Trail being constructed across the street from his house. Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
