Poor Me

Submitted by on September 18, 2011 – 12:47 pm2 Comments

where did the table and chairs go?

I planned to have my very first nerdgasm yesterday but it was not in the cards.  Live blogging was just not going to happen.

Why are you looking at me so funny?

Anyhow…Like I was saying…

So  there I was scooting around town on my favorite bike, enjoying the cloud cover and cooler temps.  I set up camp at my favorite neighborhood coffee shop and pulled out my super cool Sumsung Galaxy tab 10.1 and started to blog live.

How cool is that to be able to take photos with your camera phone and then stop and actually blog while you’re out and about? Life was good until I went to upload photos within WordPress. I can see and click all the right buttons but they just don’t work.  Talk about a buzz kill. I can click the radio buttons, I can click the “insert photo” button..But..Nothing…

So after goofing off a while and sucking up all the free WiFi right out of outer space, I took to the roads again and thought I’d stop for a spell at the shopping center near my neighborhood, the one with the really nice atrium with a huge shade giving oak tree and lots of tables and chairs to relax. THAT would improve my mood I figured. But once I arrived I saw that they had removed the tables and chairs.

At least I had a really nice time enjoying the weather on my bike.

ps: Does anyone else have a similar problem with their Android tablet and WordPress?

Chris started riding a bike again when he noticed the Preston Ridge Trail being constructed across the street from his house. Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
