BFR - Cruise to the Cottonwood Art Festival

Bike Friendly Richardson is hosting a cruise to the Cottonwood Art Festival and this should be a hoot on a bicycle.

The festival happens at the Cottonwood park where they transform the grounds into an open-air gallery with 250 artists showing their work.

Bands scheduled to perform include, Chris Watson Band, John Gaar and the Hopeful Souls, John Adams Group, Andrew Tinker, Blue Condition, Statesboro Revue, Shoot Low Sheriff, Victor Andrada, and Jimmy and Steve Barcus.

BFR is meeting at the Galatyn Plaza at 1pm and then riding to Cottonwood Park, which is just a few blocks west of the Preston Ridge trail.  Sign up at their Facebook page or visit their website for more info.  Click here for the BFR route map.  The Cottonwood Art Festival is a great family venue and the arts, live music and food are all well worth experiencing.
