Jason Roberts Could Use Our Help

Submitted by on April 15, 2013 – 8:45 pmNo Comment

Jason Roberts is one of the most dedicated and well known cycling and neighborhood activists around these parts.  As one of the founding members of Bike Friendly Oak Cliff he was pressing for improved cycling infrastructure before doing so was cool.  His methodical and calm dedication and perseverance with City Hall helped created a template for working with the City, and not against it.  As many of you know he recently kicked cancer in the tail but he’s got some jumbo debt to show for it.  A site has been set up to help with his medical bills.  Click here where you can learn more and hopefully donate and help the cause.

Chris started riding a bike again when he noticed the Preston Ridge Trail being constructed across the street from his house. Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
