Holiday Lights Ride

A couple of dozen of us rode through the neighborhoods around SMU tonight enjoying some of the more amazing holiday light displays in town. We stopped at Highland Park Village for coffee and hot chocolate.
The weather was actually perfect for it, assuming you wore a hat and gloves and all. I ride through my own neighborhood all the time so it was nice to see some of the lighted decorations in other parts of the city.
There is a world of difference when you experience this on a bike versus in a car. If you haven’t been on a Christmas lights ride yet be sure to find one to join or plan your own. Maybe next time I’ll bring a decent camera.
What group did you ride with? I thought the DORBA/OCBC/FMD Holiday lights ride was tonight?
