Hipstamatic Office Bikes
I rode my 2008 Electrabike Amsterdam Classic 3 to my office today via the White Rock Lake Trail and the newly opened Santa Fe Trail link. From the STF Trail to my office is .8 miles, and my house is 1.9 miles from the other end of the trail at the lake. So my 8 mile bike commute is now on 5.3 miles of lovely, paved trail and the rest on pretty nice residential streets.
When I got to my office, I took this photo with one of my favorite iphone apps. It’s called “Hipstamatic”, and it uses various “lenses” and “bulbs” to create the look of an old Instamatic print. The bike in the rear is my office bike, a 1965 Coppertone Schwinn Traveler with a Bendix two-speed kickback hub.
