Ride to the Foodie Truck Fest

Saturday, March 3, 2013 at 10am at Garden Cafe in East Dallas (map).

W. B. Travis TAG Academy (DISD) is having a fundraiser Truck Fest to help the 7th & 8th grade band go to Disneyworld for competition. $5 donation to get in. Many food trucks to choose from and a DJ to keep things lively. The Facebook event for the fest itself is here.

We’ll grab coffee at the new espresso bar at Garden Cafe, take a tour of SMU, and ride on down to W. B. Travis on McKinney Ave. If we finish in time, I wouldn’t mind swinging by Deep Ellum Brewery for their afternoon tours.

As always, this is a family-friendly event with no spandex required. Bring a helmet & locks. We follow all traffic laws and stick together for a great ride!
