Biking in Dallas Has Issues

Submitted by on June 6, 2011 – 9:32 pm2 Comments

Our host, godaddy, moved our site from one server to another.  They sent me a note telling me this was going to happen.  Well they busted part of WordPress in the process.  We can no longer upload photos and most of the plug-ins and applications are broken.  As a result posting anything with a photo is a nightmare and since the spam protector no longer works I could be spending hours each day trying to delete all the spam.

If you have commented recently and wonder why your comment has not been approved it’s because I am so overwhelmed with having to delete spam while I try to find legitimate comments.

I have been on the phone with godaddy support twice, one conversation was a complete nightmare, one was productive.  I’m hoping the issue is permission related, but it’s time consuming to trouble shoot.

So, we’re still here and we’re still riding bikes, the blog is just a little crippled at the moment.  We hope to have it resolved sooner than later..

Chris started riding a bike again when he noticed the Preston Ridge Trail being constructed across the street from his house. Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
