Seen At The Bike Friendly Oak Cliff’s Tweed Ride

Submitted by Christopher Curnutt on December 14, 2009 – 10:41 amNo Comment

We’ve attended numerous group rides hosted by Bike Friendly Oak Cliff but the Tweed Ride was one of our favorites.  The sky was sunny and clear – perfect for folks dressed in tweed and vintage attire.  The majority of bikes seemed old and vintage, it was fun just to bike watch.

Originally from England Tweed, rides have been getting considerable attention in many metropolitan areas; literally all over the world.  There is a significant population of people who have an interest in vintage cycling and the style that goes with it.

Drop by Riding Pretty to see a listing of  Tweed Rides that have been going on across the country this year.
