Bicycle Commuting This Week – When You’re Hot You’re Hot

Submitted by on August 27, 2012 – 3:12 pm5 Comments

That’s hot, but not THAT hot.

People North of the Mason Dixon line might not understand that temperatures in the low 90s is actually reasonable for summer bike commuting.  I can do low 90s on my way home without complaining too much, then again I have a short commute.  No doubt it’s more brutal on those who have a significant distance to cover.

It’s the high 90s or low 100s that kill me .  Anyhow, I’m delighted about the bike friendlier, cooler weather.

So the question is, how hot is too hot for you?

And why not listen to some Jerry Reed while you ponder the summer heat.

Since then he co-founded Biking in Dallas, has gone through countless Craigslist bike projects (some better than others) and can be found pedaling around town on a Electra Ticino with a camera in tow.
